| | ABSTRACT |
| |
The RSNA Medical Imaging Resource Center (MIRC) project is an initiative providing tools for a global community of teaching file and clinical trial resources on the Internet. The RSNA participates by making available a MIRC-compliant, open-source software package that can be used to install a very capable teaching file system that can also participate in clinical imaging trials as a principal investigator and/or acquisition site. The RSNA's MIRC site (MIRC.rsna.org) offers all the software and documentation for free. It also serves as a portal into the entire community of teaching file sites. The RSNA also manages an open-source project to extend the capabilities of its MIRC implementation. In the past year, many new capabilities have been added.
The talk will describe these new capabilities.
